It's been a long time since I've had the opportunity to spend Easter with my extended family. I love seeing them because it always brings back memories of my childhood, being surrounded by Portuguese food and desserts. Living in San Francisco, I don't get many opportunities to eat Portuguese desserts. Needless to say, I stuffed myself and loved every minute of it. This Easter was filled with some traditional Portuguese sweet treats. We had Massa Sovada (sweet bread) and my mom's fillozes (cream puffs).
